We had an incredible experience with this young pupils who were asking lots of questions about engineering and what do we do. We showed them some wind turbines, rockets and cardboard hands while discussing ways of transport and renewable energy. The kids also has great fun making some rockets and colouring them.

Emily, Katie, Isla and Engil participated to the STEM fair at St Ninians. Our friends from Thales borrowed us a set of Ozobots and thanks to that our stall was the most popular! The kids and also the parents loved it. They were all very interested in playing with them.

Four workshops were delivered relating to Aero, Mech, Civil to encourage primary 5 pupils to seek careers in the STEM Industry, this time we were able to used the meccano set borrowed to us by our friends from RAF.

We participated in st.Vincent's careers fair, where kids were learning more about different career paths. As FemEng we talked to them about engineering and answered all the questions that the students had

Encourage pupils into engineering, whilst discussing the different types of engineering and our experiences. Four workshops were also delivered relating to Aero, Mech, Civil and Biomed to encourage them to seek careers in the STEM Industry.

Introduce students to the concept of engineering, what it involves and delivered 4 workshops related to engineering to encourage them to pursue a career in STEM. In this workshops the kids had the opportunity to design paper windmills, straws bridges and cardboard hands to give them an idea on what they can do as mechanical, civil or biomedical engineers.
