FemEng aims to bridge the gap between university student and industry professional, and to try to give students an idea of where their degree could take them. One of the ways in which we do so is by hosting informal networking events which we call 'Future You'. At these events we invite successful female industry professionals and alumni to give a brief presentation answering the question, 'How did you get to where you are now?' |

In the International Women's Week, we held FutureYou discussion panel and invited some successful female engineers to talk about their personal and career experience. They were Ruth Best, mechanical building services engineer from Cundall; Monika Knop, performance audit group operations engineer from CH2M; Marie Cutiongco, PhD student in the University of Glasgow; and Elissavet Papadima, product test engineer from Cirrus Logic.
